A Falkland Childhood

Many of us will have said, or heard it said, that years ago, children knew how to make their own fun and that certainly seems to have been the case with the children of Falkland over the years.

If any of the following stories jog your own memories of being a child in Falkland, please do get in touch so that we can save those memories for the future: for posterity.

The contributors to a “Falkland Childhood” are adults now, with children of their own and grandchildren, but we now have some wonderful tales of their childhoods, saved forever on this website. We will start with two brothers, one born in 1935 and the other in 1939, John and Gordon Duncan.
